Discover the magic behind the scenes with Backstage Heroes - a brand new class for our 2024 term year focusing on learning backstage skills.

Ready to explore the world behind the curtain? There's a whole world back there and we want to teach you all about it, with theory, practical hands on activities and real world experience supporting our productions and community productions for other local theatre groups.

Students will absorb themselves each week into the exciting realms of lighting, sound, prop design, makeup, costume, scenic art, set design, marketing, producing, and much more - all essential production skills for the theatre world.

Classes run on term time dates from September to June and all classes include a Diversity Support Tutor to support the Musical Theatre Tutor in delivering an inclusive, tailored experience for your child.

Class prices do not include uniform (mandatory t shirt £14/£18 depending on size, and optional other items) which can be purchased from our online store https://lyt.teemill.com or accessible via our website.

** Whilst the year term is 33 weeks, there will be additional opportunities to learn in real world productions outside of the classes, for which NO extra charges will be levied.
